Campus Council Mission Statement
“Campus Council, Duke University’s residential governing body, serves to foster community and to improve the residential experience across East, West, and Central campuses.”
Campus Council General Body Meetings are held every Thursday at 6:00 PM in the Breedlove Room.
There are many ways that you can get involved! Although elections for this academic year have passed, you can still serve as an Ad Hoc member on one of Campus Council’s committees. To learn more about individual committees, look under the tab in the menu bar. The only technical difference that separates ad-hoc members from full-fledged members is that ad-hocs cannot vote at general body meetings and pass policies. Historically, some of our best members have been ad-hocs (and past ad-hoc members have even gone on to be elected to our executive board)! Any questions about Campus Council elections or the Ad-Hoc Representative process should be forwarded to Stephen Temple at stephen.temple@duke.edu.
