Purpose:
The Policy Committee embodies the essence and original purpose for the creation of Campus Council over a decade ago. Campus Council serves as the primary student liaison to Residence Life and Housing Services and therefore oversees all issues pertaining to residence on East, Central, and West Campuses.
The committee works to implement effective and beneficial policy for campus residents while working closely with administrators to effect positive change on the University campus. The committee has worked to implement the bathroom unlock policy, improved rising sophomore roommate selection through dissolution of the east dorm to west quad linking program, and development of the Selective Community Assessment.
