Apply For A Grant by March 3rd, 2012!
The submission deadline for grant requests is rolling, and proposals will be evaluated monthly. Applications are currently being accepted, and they are due March 3rd, 2012 Select applicants will be asked to present project proposals for the second round of consideration at a weekly STARS meeting on Tuesday evening at 7:30 pm. Funds will be allocated for approved projects shortly after they are authorized.
Eligibility:
Current Duke students, faculty members, student groups, and academic departments with a sustainability related project are eligible for funding by STARS. While STARS prefers visible on-campus projects, projects of all types are encouraged and eligible for funding. Some examples of projects might include energy monitoring & efficiency endeavors, environmental advocacy and education work, environmental conferences, greenhouse gas emissions reductions, etc…
